Treasurer's Office

PAY OR VIEW YOUR PROPERTY TAX BILL

The Treasurer is responsible for the collection and apportionment of the personal and real property taxes levied by the County and the various other taxing entities such as Yavapai College, school districts, fire districts, special districts and cities.

The Treasurer also acts as the bank for the County by receiving and remitting money in the amount of approximately $2 billion annually from all sources. He is responsible for keeping these funds invested and earning interest as provided in the statutes. The Treasurer also conducts the annual tax lien sale and in conjunction with that sale, he issues Certificates of Purchase.
